The British Fire Consortium is an organisation committed to delivering the very best in training and support for extinguisher and alarm technicians throughout the United Kingdom. With more than 200 member companies representing fire safety equipment servicing, fire equipment manufacturers including extinguishers, alarms, detection, fire systems, signage, chemicals, testing equipment and much more, the BFC has more than 35 years in the fire sector business providing the training, support and advice our industry sector requires.

Members of the BFC benefit from preferential pricing of our training programs but this training is open to all. A wide range of courses are available including the only third party accredited Extinguisher Technicians Course and Examination in the UK with endorsement of the IFE. Since the BFC’s launch in 1983 at the British Safety Awards Exhibition, The British Fire Consortium has become one of the leading providers of high quality fire safety equipment training at its heart but with an ongoing commitment to improving our member’s knowledge and understanding of the essential issues and demands of a constantly developing industry sector.
