Level: BFC Attendance Certificate.

Fee: £395.00 + VAT (£325.00 + VAT for BFC members) per person. The Course fee includes lunch and refreshments but excludes accommodation.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course provides beginners to Fire Training with an electronic and hard copy presentation and training notes upon which to develop their own ‘Use of Fire Extinguishers', ‘Fire Awareness' and ‘Fire Warden' Training courses.

Experienced trainers will gain fresh ideas and methods for delivering their presentations as will receiving on successful completion a BFC Certificate of Attendance.

Candidates will receive tuition on maintaining an audience's attention and putting the message across effectively.

The course also includes hands on live fire demonstrations using a special gas-operated fire training rig and, where conditions allow, paper and oil fires.

• The role of the fire warden & the fire warden checklist
• The role of the Company Fire Officer and nominated ‘Responsible Person'.
• Fire evacuation drills & assembly point management
• Fire disaster planning
